Cherry Blossoms and Chinoiserie – Shop the Look

Are looking to deck out your home for spring, but at the same time up the elegance factor? If so, cherry blossoms and chinoiserie will do the trick!

This spring I styled my foyer buffet with a chinoiserie ginger jar filled with cherry blossoms. It looked very classy and sophisticated. The blue and white chinoiserie gives off such an air of elegance and the pop of soft pink adds a beautiful femininity to the room. Cherry blossoms are known to bloom in March and April and are considered the epitome of a spring flower. Therefore, these elements together, chinoiserie and cherry blossoms, creates an over-the-top chic spring arrangement.

Chinoiserie is actually a European style, which emulates Asian art and design patterns. The beautiful motifs are interesting and give off a well-traveled or refined look. The delicate patterns create such an elegance and refinement in a space. Because of this chinoiserie is considered timeless and adaptable, the look will never go out of fashion.

Chinoiserie works with pretty much all decorating styles, from traditional to contemporary. Due to its transitional nature, chinoiserie can be styled in so many different ways throughout the year in your home. Chinoiserie pieces can also be placed in various rooms in your home because they are neutral, but elegant accessories.
